এই সেবার শর্তাবলী (“Terms”) OpenSelfHosting-এর OpenKey application ও related official packages-এর আপনার ব্যবহার govern করে। OpenKey download, install, বা use করলে আপনি এই Terms মেনে নেন।

1. সেবা

OpenKey একটি password manager যা vault data আপনার device-এ encrypt করে। Optional sync API ciphertext only store করে যখন app আপনার control-এর server (অথবা অন্য কেউ আপনার জন্য operate করে) দেখায়। OpenSelfHosting docs-এ described free core experience-এর অংশ mandatory hosted vault cloud দেয় না।

Open packages (server, extension, CLI, docs) সাধারণত MIT License-এ available যেমন repositories-এ published। Mobile/desktop app store terms-এর অধীনেও distribute হতে পারে এই Terms-এর বাইরে।

2. Eligibility

আপনার jurisdiction-এ binding contract করতে পারবেন ও যেখানে OpenKey install করেন app-store accounts-এর minimum age (ও কমপক্ষে 13, locally higher যদি required) meet করবেন।

3. আপনার account ও master password

• Master password-এ vault create ও control করেন।
• Master-password recovery নয়। forget করলে ও unlockable device session বা encrypted backup না থাকলে ciphertext unrecoverable — by design।
• Strong master password বেছে নেওয়া, প্রয়োজনীয় backups রাখা, vault unlocked থাকলে devices secure করার দায়িত্ব আপনার।

4. Acceptable use

আপনি agree করেন না করবেন:

• OpenKey law বা others’ rights violate করতে ব্যবহার
• OpenSelfHosting infrastructure, other users’ vaults, বা unauthorized systems compromise করার attempt (except private security research আমাদের security policy অনুযায়ী reported)
• Pro purchase status misrepresent বা store refund/attestation mechanisms abuse
• Apple, Google, বা Microsoft agreements violate করে proprietary store builds redistribute

আপনি যে self-hosted servers run করেন secure করবেন (HTTPS, secrets, access control)। Misconfiguration আপনার responsibility।

5. OpenKey Pro ও purchases

কিছু features OpenKey Pro চায় (যেমন free caps-এর বাইরে unlimited items, export, encrypted .okbak backups, Nearby LAN sync, organizations/sharing, attachments)। দেখুন অ্যাপ ব্যবহার।

• Store purchases ও subscriptions platform (Apple / Google / Microsoft) bill করে। তাদের refund ও cancellation rules প্রযোজ্য।
• কিছু desktop platforms-এ Nearby-এর over LAN Pro peer attestation convenience, IAP platforms-এ store purchase-এর substitute নয়।
• Prices ও feature availability বদলাতে পারে; material product changes documentation বা store listings-এ reflect করব।

6. Third-party services

OpenKey interact করতে পারে:

• Operating system Autofill / passkey APIs
• আপনার self-hosted sync server
• App store billing APIs
• আপনি যে Nearby peers pair করেন

তাদের নিজস্ব terms। Third-party outages বা policies-এর জন্য আমরা responsible নয়।

7. Intellectual property

OpenKey names, logos, branding OpenSelfHosting বা licensors-এর owned। Open-source components respective licenses-এ রয়ে। App use করার personal, non-exclusive license পাবেন যেমন distributed — OpenSelfHosting trademarks-এর ownership নয়।

8. Privacy

আমাদের গোপনীয়তা নীতি ব্যাখ্যা করে device-এ কী processed, optional sync server-এ কী পাঠায়, ও কীভাবে contact করবেন।

9. Disclaimer of warranties

OpenKey “as is” ও “as available” provide করা হয় law-এর permitted maximum extent-এ। Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement warranties disclaim করি। App uninterrupted, error-free হবে, বা ciphertext master password ও backups ছাড়া recoverable হবে — warrant না করি।

10. Limitation of liability

Law-এর permitted maximum extent-এ OpenSelfHosting ও contributors indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive damages, বা profits, data, goodwill loss-এর liable নয় OpenKey ব্যবহার থেকে — including forgotten master password বা missing backups-এ vault access loss।

Liability exclude না হলে limited greater of (a) claim-এর তিন মাস আগে OpenKey Pro-এর জন্য paid amounts (platforms retained store fees বাদে) বা (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50), prohibited হলে except।

11. Indemnity

OpenKey misuse, self-hosted deployments, বা stored content-এর claims থেকে OpenSelfHosting defend ও indemnify করবেন, law-এর permitted extent-এ।

12. Termination

যেকোনো সময় OpenKey use stop করতে পারেন (uninstall, local data delete, store subscriptions cancel)। আমরা builds distribute stop বা features change করতে পারি। Provisions যা by nature survive (including §§ 3, 7–11, 13) termination-এর পর survive।

13. এই Terms-এ changes

Terms update করতে পারি। “Last updated” date বদলবে। Changes effective-এর পর continued use acceptance, local law additional consent চাইলে except।

14. Governing law

এই Terms OpenSelfHosting-এর principal place of business-এর applicable laws-এর অধীন, conflict-of-law rules ছাড়া, except residence country-এর mandatory consumer protections apply ও waive না হলে।
