ये सेवा की शर्तें (“Terms”) OpenSelfHosting द्वारा published OpenKey application और related official packages के आपके उपयोग को govern करती हैं। OpenKey download, install, या use करके आप इन Terms से agree करते हैं।

1. सेवा

OpenKey एक password manager है जो vault data आपके device पर encrypt करता है। Optional sync API ciphertext only store करता है जब आप app को server पर point करते हैं जो आप control करते हैं (या जो कोई और आपके लिए operate करता है)। OpenSelfHosting docs में described free core experience का हिस्सा mandatory hosted vault cloud provide नहीं करता।

Open packages (server, extension, CLI, docs) generally MIT License के तहत available हैं जैसा उनकी repositories में published। Mobile/desktop app store terms के तहत भी distribute हो सकता है इन Terms के अतिरिक्त।

2. Eligibility

आप अपने jurisdiction में binding contract बना सकें और जहाँ OpenKey install करते हैं वहाँ app-store accounts के minimum age (और कम से कम 13, या locally higher यदि required) meet करें।

3. आपका account और master password

• आप master password से अपना vault create और control करते हैं।
• Master-password recovery नहीं है। यदि forget करें और unlockable device session या encrypted backup नहीं है जो open कर सकें, ciphertext unrecoverable है — by design।
• आप strong master password choose करने, जरूरी backups रखने, और vault unlocked होने पर devices secure करने के responsible हैं।

4. Acceptable use

आप agree करते हैं कि नहीं करेंगे:

• OpenKey law या others’ rights violate करने के लिए उपयोग
• OpenSelfHosting infrastructure, other users’ vaults, या unauthorized systems compromise करने का attempt (except private security research हमारी security policy के अनुसार reported)
• Pro purchase status misrepresent या store refund/attestation mechanisms abuse
• Apple, Google, या Microsoft agreements violate करके proprietary store builds redistribute

आप जो self-hosted servers run करते हैं उन्हें आप secure करें (HTTPS, secrets, access control)। Misconfiguration आपकी responsibility है।

5. OpenKey Pro और purchases

कुछ features OpenKey Pro require करते हैं (उदाहरण free caps से beyond unlimited items, export, encrypted .okbak backups, Nearby LAN sync, organizations/sharing, attachments)। देखें ऐप का उपयोग।

• Store purchases और subscriptions platform (Apple / Google / Microsoft) bill करता है। उनकी refund और cancellation rules apply होती हैं।
• कुछ desktop platforms पर Nearby के over LAN Pro peer attestation convenience है, IAP platforms पर store purchase का substitute नहीं।
• Prices और feature availability बदल सकती है; material product changes documentation या store listings में reflect करेंगे।

6. Third-party services

OpenKey interact कर सकता है:

• Operating system Autofill / passkey APIs
• आपका self-hosted sync server
• App store billing APIs
• आप जिन Nearby peers pair करते हैं

उन services की अपनी terms हैं। Third-party outages या policies के लिए हम responsible नहीं।

7. Intellectual property

OpenKey names, logos, और branding OpenSelfHosting या licensors के owned हैं। Open-source components अपनी respective licenses के तहत रहते हैं। आपको app use करने का personal, non-exclusive license मिलता है जैसा distributed — OpenSelfHosting trademarks का ownership नहीं।

8. Privacy

हमारी गोपनीयता नीति बताती है device पर क्या processed होता है, optional sync आपके server पर क्या भेजता है, और हमसे कैसे contact करें।

9. Disclaimer of warranties

OpenKey “as is” और “as available” provide किया जाता है law द्वारा permitted maximum extent तक। हम merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, और non-infringement warranties disclaim करते हैं। हम warrant नहीं करते कि app uninterrupted, error-free होगा, या ciphertext master password और backups बिना recoverable होगा।

10. Limitation of liability

Law द्वारा permitted maximum extent तक, OpenSelfHosting और contributors indirect, incidental, special, consequential, या punitive damages, या profits, data, या goodwill loss के लiable नहीं OpenKey उपयोग से — including forgotten master password या missing backups से vault access loss।

11. Indemnity

आप OpenSelfHosting को defend और indemnify करेंगे claims से arising OpenKey misuse, self-hosted deployments, या content जो store करते हैं, law द्वारा permitted extent तक।

12. Termination

आप कभी भी OpenKey use stop कर सकते हैं (uninstall, local data delete, store subscriptions cancel)। हम builds distribute stop या features change कर सकते हैं। Provisions जो by nature survive करनी चाहिए (including §§ 3, 7–11, 13) termination के बाद survive करती हैं।

13. इन Terms में changes

14. Governing law
